OO Gauge SET E1-1 - product code 4WH0900101

This set E1-1 includes parts to construct One (1) basic portal structure that has an adjustable span to cater for up to 4 (four) tracks. 

Two Pile Driven style Bases are included in the kit, with four magnets to fit into the bases and OHLE structure. The use of magnets allows the OHLE structures to be easily removed and re-fitted on your layout.

Extension sets are available separately, SET E1-2 Mono-Boom Anchor Portal Extension Pack; these can be added during construction to allow the structure to span more than four tracks.

PLEASE NOTE - the registration arms are NOT included and should be purchased separately.

All parts are supplied unpainted; before painting it is recommended to apply a light coat of primer.

Regarding the spacing of OHLE masts, the real railway mast spacing can be vary between about 20metres and 70metres which equates to 260 to 920mm in OO Gauge. In general mast spacing is likely to be closer together at junctions and on sharper curves.
The Peco wires are available in the following lengths 200mm, 260mm, 340mm, 380mm and 500mm, so if you are fitting wires then it makes sense to space your masts to suit the Peco wire lengths. [wires are not included in this kit]

• Overall height above baseboard (including bases) - 128mm
• Overall Maximum adjustable length of structure (across the tracks) - 246mm
• Overall Minimum adjustable length of structure (across the tracks) - 131mm
• Overall width of structure - 76mm (including diagonal support beams) 
• Nominal height of contact wire (if fitted to Magnetic Registration Arms) - 78mm above baseboard [wires not included]
