Diesel Loco High Intensity Headlights - 1980s Square Style with LEDs - OO Gauge (Pack of 4)

From the mid 1980s British Rail fitted high intensity headlights to many types of diesel locomotives to help improve visibility of trains to trackside workers.  

This set 1980s style square headlights are supplied with LEDs that can be wired within your locomotive, the UNPAINTED pack includes:-

4 - High Intensity headlights
4 - High Intensity headlight clear lenses
4 - LEDs (pre-wired with resistors)
4 - LED housing boxes
4 - Adaptors for use with fibre optic cable (f/o cable not supplied)

Notes:-

• Please see the downloadable Diesel Headlights Instructions in the Attachment tab above.
• There were many variations between different locomotives of the fitting and placement of headlights; therefore it is recommended to refer to photographs of the real thing when fitting these parts.
• All parts are supplied unpainted.
• Note that in order to fit these headlights with LEDs, a 1.5mm hole will need to be drilled into the front of your model in the correct place.
• The LEDs supplied are pre-wired with resistors, and are suitable for connection direct to a suitable 12v power feed within your locomotive.
• The LEDs may also be suitable for wiring to a DCC decoder output (please refer to your decoder manufacturers' instructions).
• Top-Tip - use a very light coat of white primer first, then paint the headlights before removing them from the sprue.
